Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are. ~Author Unknown

We all think we are kind. Sometimes you get those who really mean to be kind. One thing I know for certain, no matter how kind a person are, there is and always will be a cruel streak in each of us. Whether you mean to be cruel sometimes or it just happens... well we won’t really know will we?

Being kind to others doesn’t cost you anything and its no effort at all. So, when was the last time you were kind to others?

Whether it is someone you know, a stranger or just an animal. No difference in kindness at all. Every living thing on this planet deserve to be treated kindness. But as humans, we normally tend to think that only some deserve kindness.

Kindness is one of those virtues that is so conveniently overlooked and yet it shapes our daily reality and self perception. Small acts of kindness let us know we are safe and valued. Kindness build bridges between people and bring a community closer together. Kindness in relationships help build a strong bond between 2 people. Sometimes kindness is missing in relationships and for the life of me I cannot understand how such a thing is possible. Saying a kind word or 2 that is meant from the heart seems difficult for some to utter.

No matter if you are at work, home or just around people, see if you can spot a kind face and if you can witness any kind. First thing, be kind to yourself. When you're feeling safe and happy within yourself it is easier to offer kindness to others around you. There really is little upside to beating yourself up about things you cannot change. And if you can change them, don't waste time, effort, energy and heart on being nasty to yourself. Treat yourself as kindly as you would want you most precious loved ones to be treated.

Very often what is considered to be good manners also translates to being kind to others, such as offering your seat on the bus to another or opening a door for someone. Manners make the world go round more easily - usually because it is about being kind and considerate of others. We enjoy being treated with good manners and so do others.

Kindness cannot be measured in size.

If each one of us gave daily to others something that we love so much, care about so deeply, that makes us feel so safe and secure, make sure those around you are treated exactly the same way.
